MAYA EVENTOV
Maya Eventov (b. 1964, Russia) was introduced to the artworks of European masters from a very young age by her parents. Her palette has been inspired by Matisse, Gaugin, and Renoir, while her sense of composition is influenced by Rodchenko, Lissitzki and Malevich.
She graduated in 1987 with a Masters degree in graphic art, and immigrated to Canada in 1990. Maya continues to find inspiration through travel. Her work has been exhibited in galleries across Canada, the United States, and Britain. Maya and her family reside just outside of Toronto.
